#RamadanWithEE: Makeup Look For After Iftar.

Hello my lovies!<3
Welcome to my second post in #RamdanWithEE ;) Today, i'll be showing you my version of a makeup look that I think is suitable for after Iftar in Ramadan! The reason why I say '' after Iftar '' is because I advise you not to wear makeup at all during fasting, simply not to break your fast (especially eyeliner on your waterline and lipsticks/lip glosses/lip balms).
So, what I created for you is something very light on the face yet the eyes are still defined. Now let's get started!

1) First of all, on a clean face, I applied a liquid highlighter on the cheekbones. I used the '' Benefit Girl Meets Pearl '' ( PS: I emptied the product into a small pot to make it easier for application. )

2) Then I lightly filled in my eyebrows using my '' Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit, shade: 03'' and the brush I used is the '' Body Shop Slanted Brush"

3) Using my '' Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, shade: 10'' I concealed any blemishes and my under eye circles and blended it in with my Beauty Blender. After that, I set the concealer with my '' Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder, shade: Transparent.''

 4) And then I applied a pink blush which is the '' Elf Blush, shade: Pink Passion. ''

 5) And now the EYES! Messily line your upper lash line with a black kohl pencil, I used the '' Maybelline Colossal Kajal Pencil, shade: Extra Black ''
Smudge that line with a medium brown eye shadow, the shade I used is in the '' NYX Love In Paris Palette, shade: Merci Beaucoup. ''

6) Curl your lashes and apply a light coat of your favorite mascara, I used the '' Benefit they're Real! ''

7) Last but not least, apply a pink lip gloss and you're DONE! The one I used is the '' Revlon ColorBurst, shade: Crystal Lilac. ''

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you're having a nice day.:)x See you in my next post!<3

#RamadanWithEE: Making Your Ramadan Worthwhile.

Hello my loviessss!<3
Ramadan Kareem to all my Muslim followers, wishing you a blessed and happy month.<3
If you don't follow me on Instagram, then you don't know about my Ramadan series '' #RamadanWithEE '' where i'll be posting everything related to the holy month of Ramadan and sharing my month with you all!
Today, in my very first post, i'll be telling you 8 WAYS in how you can make your Ramadan worthwhile. This will be in terms of doing good, reaching out to Allah and creating a bigger and special bond, helping the poor etc.. (these are all in my opinion ofcourse)

1) Waking Up Early.

Waking up early and not before Iftar by a couple of hours is very important in the month of Ramadan. The whole point is to feel the Fasting and not sleeping through it!

2) Praying All 5 Prayers.

Now, this is ESSENTIAL through out the whole year not only Ramadan, but, it's even MORE ESSENTIAL in Ramadan, as Fasting is not accepted if you don't pray all 5 prayers. So, remember that if you don't pray, your Fasting through out the whole month is pointless.

3) Finishing Quran Once Or More.

Reading Quran and finishing is undoubtedly something very essential, which every Muslim should strive to do. Just to be clear, this is not obligatory, if for any reasons you didn't do that, you are not sinning. HOWEVER, you will miss out on a great deal of reward.
Here is a picture on how you can Finish Quran once or more in Ramadan..

4) Join Community Service Groups.

A great way in benefiting from your free hours during fasting, is by organizing or joining an organization that makes Iftar Meals for the poor and helping out the ones in need in this time of year as it can be quite difficult for the less fortunate to provide themselves with food. And remember, you will gain a huge reward for that.

5) Donate.

Try your best to donate to hospitals, well-known organizations and so. Donate with any amount of money you can, whether it's 1 pound or 100. Trust me, it will make a difference.

6) Tarawih.

Tarawih is an extra prayer performed specially in the month of Ramadan. It is not compulsory, however just like reading Quran, you will gain a big reward from it!

Here are a couple of links talking all about Tarawih Prayer:

7) Duaa.

Duaa is one of the perfect ways to connect with Allah, whether it's in Ramadan or your whole lifetime. There is no better feeling that pouring your heart out to Allah in the form of Duaa, so never miss an opportunity to make a Duaa.

Here are a few pictures including the perfect Duaa(s) in Ramadan.

8) Watching Islamic Shows.

By watching Islamic shows, you'll learn a lot about your religion and picking up tips and ways on how you could live your life as acceptable and '' perfect '' as possible!
I personally recommend Mustafa Hosney in his show ''انسان جديد''

Here is a link to his Facebook page to follow up on all his episodes: https://www.facebook.com/MustafaHosny

And that's everything I have to say. I'd just like to share with you this photo here, which summarizes 10 tips on how you can have a Productive Ramadan.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you're having a nice day.:)x See you in my next post!<3

Step By Step: Silver Smokey Eye.

Hello my lovies!<3
Welcome to another Step By Step post, where I show steps on how to create a certain look! Today's look is going to an eye look, which a silver smokey eye. I've already done another smokey eye tutorial which was black ombre so click here if you wanna check it out.
All shadows used are from the Bhcosmetics Special Occasion palette, which I did do a review on.

Step 1)

Based on the thought that you have already primed your eyelids, we are going to start by packing a silver eye shadow all over the lids.

Step 2)

Apply a darker silver/grey shade on the outer part of the eyelid.

Step 3)

Drag both colors upwards towards the crease of the eye.

Step 4)

Apply a dark brown to the crease and start blending. The reason why I started with a dark brown first is so when I apply the black it isn't as hard to blend.

Step 5)

Apply a black shade to the outer corner and a white shimmery shade to the centre to bring back light.

Step 6)

BLEND BLEND BLEND!
After blending, create a winged eye liner.

Step 6)

On the lower lash line, apply the a mixture of the silver shades and the black on the outer part of the lower lash line.
Using the same white shimmery shade, highlight the inner corner and the brow bone.

Step 7)

Coat your lashes with 2 coats of your favorite mascara.

Step 8)

Conceal and highlight your under eyes.

AND THAT'S IT!

Shades used:

Step By Step: Black Ombre Smokey Eye.

Hello my lovies!<3
Today, i'll be showing you a step by step tutorial on a muted black ombre smokey eye that fades into a very light brown! This was personally requested by 2 of my very close friends, and I'm honored to be doing this for them and for all of you as well. There are tons of smokey eyes in the makeup world, and i'm planning on doing a tutorial on each and every one of them. Since this post is purely focused on the eyes, I won't be sharing details on the face makeup. Keep in mind that this is a very dramatic look that will perfectly suit any major event you have like weddings and what not.
ALL smokey eyes can be concluded into 2 words: LAYERING AND BLENDING!
These are the KEY techniques to achieving the PERFECT smokey eye!
PS: Please ignore the eyebrows haha..
So, let's get started.x

STEP 1)

-Having a clean and primed base is essential! Primed is when you either apply an eye shadow primer that will ensure the longevity of your eye shadows and making sure they stay all day long, or you can use an eye shadow base that has a white/cream/beige tint to it, or the easiest option which is using concealer! I personally used the NYX Eye Shadow Base in the shade ESB03.

-Tape! Some of you might think it's very unusual to use something extremely non-beauty related into perfecting your eye shadows! Using tape is a key to achieve a clean and crisp line to your eye shadow look and to your winged eye liner as well!!

STEP 2)

- Apply any medium brown shade to your whole eyelid and your crease.

Shade I used is SEMI-SWEET from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette.

STEP 3)

- Start applying a very thin layer of black eye shadow (I used a muted black) on the eyelids ONLY!

Shade I used is the darkest shade in the NYX Love In Paris Palette in the shade MERCI BEAUCOUP.

STEP 4)

- Start blending both colours together WHILE applying a dark brown to the outer corner.

The dark brown I used is TRIPLE FUDGE from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette.

STEP 5)

- Layer both the dark brown and the black shadows on top of each other to create more depth, and blend as well.

STEP 6)

-The very final steps is to blend a very light brown caramel shade right above the crease for a more ombre and diffused look.
-Create a half winged eyeliner.
-Remove the tape.

STEP 7 AND The Final Step!

Continue layering and blending until achieving the desired look!

Apply a couple of coats of mascara, an inner corner and brow bone highlight and a black pencil liner on the water line AND VOILA!!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you're having a nice day.:)x See you in my next post!<3

Hair Care Routine.

Hello my lovies! Hope your weekend is going well so far<3
Today i'll be sharing with you my hair care routine, everything from what I use in the shower to what I use after. I won't be including the products I use when I apply heat on, as that will be in a separate blog post that will also feature how I curl my hair.
I just want to quickly mention facts about my hair.

- First of all, I haven't cut my hair since the 7th grade and at the moment I'm in the 12th grade, so my hair has grown fairly long right now and I do aim to grow it longer.

- I don't wash my hair everyday. I wash it every 4 days which might seem a lot to some, but my hair type doesn't get that oily quickly, so I can get away with not washing it for a few days. However, when I really do feel that my hair is getting quite greasy and I can't bother washing it, I do use Dry Shampoo which is the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Dark & Deep Brown.

- My natural hair colour is medium brown with hints of red undertones, But I did dye the ends of my hair a light caramel/reddish colour in a professional salon.

- My hair naturally dries slightly wavy and sometimes a tiny bit frizzy, but that's if I don't use the products i'll mention. I do get split ends pretty fast and they say you're supposed to cut it every 3 months or so, but honestly, I cut them twice a year haha :D which is bad I know, don't judge.

Products I use.

1) The shampoo and conditioner I use is the TRESemme Keratin Smooth.
I've been using these 2 for about a month now, and I swear by them!! They make my hair feel incredibly soft and silky, reduce the appearance of split ends and they make my hair smell good. AND they're affordable! It can't get any better!

2 QUICK TIPS! - When washing your hair with shampoo, only concentrate it on the scalp and not your whole head of hair. The point of shampoo is to cleanse the scalp from all the oils and gunk accumulated over the days, so there is no point in harshly washing the ends of your hair as they are delicate and in this way you're stripping and damaging it.

- The complete opposite when using conditioner! Only focus on the ends of your hair and not the scalp! If you apply conditioner to your scalp, you'll later on realize that your hair will get greasier in a short period of time.

2) After I get out of the shower, I brush my hair using The Wet Brush, which is designed specifically to brush out wet hair.
Wet hair is extremely delicate and fragile and is more prone to split ends, so a Quick Tip is to use a wide tooth comb or a wet brush like the one I'm using to brush out your hair and remove any tangles formed.

3) And now here comes my holy grail product!! The L'oreal Paris Elvive Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum. I literally can't swear by this product enough! I apply 2 pumps to the ends of my hair only and brush it out with the wet brush again to distribute the product and done! Smooth and Frizz free hair!! This is actually the FOURTH bottle I've purchased as I go through it like a dream! It's also perfect for dry hair as well!

And after that I just tie my hair with a hair tie and leave it to completely air dry! The next morning it'll look like the picture I inserted in the beginning.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you're having a nice day.:)x See you in my next post!<3
