Huge Makeup Haul + Mini Reviews.

As you can see from the title, today I'm doing a pretty huge makeup haul! These are everything I've purchased or got as a gift in the past week or so. I did try a few of these products so i'll be giving short reviews on what I've tried so far.
Here's an over view of what i'll be showing you in this haul.

PS: I'm not bragging nor trying to show off, just trying to be helpful and show you products that i'll be currently trying and hopefully loving.

The first thing i'll be showing is the BH Cosmetics Neutral Eyes Eyeshadow Palette. I've only tried it a few times on myself and on one of my clients and so far so good. This palette has amazing neutral matte and shimmery colours, perfect transition shades and brow bone/ inner corner highlights. The pigmentation is pretty amazing or at least the shades I've used so far.

Another Eyeshadow palette which is the BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel, for a FULL REVIEW click here.

A product I've wanted to purchase for SO LONG is the Mac Fix Plus Setting Spray. The reason why I wanted it so much is because of all of the beauty gurus raving about this product and now I know why. I've used it 2 times and seeing how my makeup stays on, looks good all day, refreshes and leaves a slight dewy look to the skin just amazes me! I know this will be a makeup staple from now on!

Something I've received as a gift from my sister is the INGLOT Loose Powder. I haven't tried this product yet, the reason why is that I feel like the shade is a tad dark for me. Essentially, I wanted to bake the under eyes with it, but seeing how dark it is compared to my skin tone I don't think it will work, so I might try it as an all over face powder or get great use out of it on any clients.

Another gift from my sister is the H&M High Impact Eye Colour Eyeshadow, shade: Obisdian (which is black). I tried it once using an angled brush to create a soft winged eyeliner and it seemed good and quite pigmented and rich in colour. There was fall out, but I feel like that's the case with any matte black shadow.

I wanted to get 2 of the Maybelline mascaras, one of them I did try before and love which is the The Falsies and the other one that I wanted to try is the The Rocket Mascara. The Falsies I know that I already love and from the name, it really does give the illusion of false lashes. The Rocket I've used once and I like it as well, but not as much as the falsies, but I do have to try it a couple more times to fully judge.

A more higher end mascara that I've tried the sample size of before and absolutely FELL IN LOVE is the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. This will curl your lashes, hold the curl, create so much length, will not flake nor smudge and stay on all day looking fresh and fabulous!
Definitely a top holy grail product!

Ofcourse, I had to stock up on my absolute favorite concealer that I talk about all the time and they are my Maybelline Fit Me Concealers in the shades 10 and 20. I won't talk about them too much since you all know how much I ADORE this concealer, I promise you it's perfection in a tube.
A concealer I own 2 other shades of it and wanted a new shade for my under eyes, is the LA Girl Pro Conceal, shade: Natural. This product is my new obsession. I own a contour shade and a skin tone shade and felt like I had to buy another one for brightening the under eyes. This concealer blends so beautifully and naturally and leaves a nice finish to the skin. It's very light yet pigmented in colour which makes you feel like you have nothing on your skin.

Another product from the Maybelline Fit Me line is the Foundation Sticks, I purchased 2 shades to use for cream contouring and highlighting (blog post coming soon). The shades are 355 Coconut and 120 Classic Ivory. I did try them and I found that these blend pretty easily IF you blend it right away! They tend to settle and set on the skin quite fast so you do have to be quick with the blending process. Nonetheless, it's a good product and I like it.

The last product i'll be showing is the L'oreal INFALLIBLE 24 Hour Fondation in the shades 120 Vanilla and 200 Golden Sand. This is the normal formula for normal to dry skin, there is a another formula for oily skin which is the Pro Matte and I've heard AMAZING things about it! However, at the moment I do lean more towards normal to dry skin so I purchased this instead. I did try it once and I was blown away! I loved how this sat on my skin and made it look natural and not cakey in the slightest! It blended in very easily and I used a Beauty Blender with this product. It stayed on and so far I have nothing bad to say about it.

This is everything! I hope you found this post to be helpful in someway and enjoyed it. Thank you so much and i'll see you soon in my next blog post! - EE x

Review: Carli Bybel BH Cosmetics Palette.

So today i'll be reviewing the Carli Bybel BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette. I recently just purchased it and felt like I had to do a blog post on it, simply for my love to one of my favorite beauty bloggers Carli Bybel.

This palette is described as: '' Beauty expert and Youtube sensation Carli Bybel designed this versatile 14 color eyeshadow and highlighter palette to dial up the drama and add excitement to your look. Carli's taste for chic refinement and modern elegance inspired her to select a collection of earthy neutrals and plummy brown shadows with four face highlighters that compliment every skin tone. The mix of mattes and shimmers makes it easy to go from amped-up evening intensity to toned-down daytime options. ''

What's special about this palette and makes me love it even more is that it's 1)Vegan
2)Paraben Free
3)Non-Irritating
4)Allergy Tested
5)Clinically Tested
And last but not least, Cruelty Free.

Whenever I buy any eyeshadow palette, there are 7 KEY POINTS to look for:

- Packaging/Portability
-Pigmentation
-Fall Out
-Blendability
-Longevity
-Variety Of Colors And Finishes
-Value For Your Buck

First of all, Packaging/Portability: It's very thin and made out of cardboard and it's fairly small, it has a magnetic closing method which ensures the palette from not opening at random times.
It's travel friendly and it's beautiful to look at *heart eyes emoji*

2) Pigmentation: On POINT! All shadows are amazingly pigmented, shimmers are more pigmented than the mattes, but I feel like that's the case with any eyeshadow palette.

3) Fall Out and 4) Blendability: When it comes to fall out, there's non. However, when I put the brush in any of the eyeshadows, it does get a little bit powdery around the circle or the pan of the eyeshadow shade, so do make sure to tap the excess or blow it out.
The blendability of these shadows are spot on! they're so blendable and buildable due to its fabulous pigmentation.

5) Longevity: Personally I didn't find any problems with the longevity of these shadows and highlights, I tried it with no primer and with and in both cases they seemed to say on for a pretty long time.

6) Variety Of Colors And Finishes: There are 5 matte shades and 5 shimmers + 4 highlight shades. I feel like there is a good selection of matte shades, perfect for the crease and there's a pop of cranberry which is a perfect night time shade. You also have a dark brown for definition and can be used in any smokey eye look. The shimmery eyeshadows are STUNNING on the eyelids and you have a variety of champagne, bronze and copper-y shades. You have 4 beautiful highlight shades that can also be used as eyeshadows, and will suit any skin tone!

Swatches.

The mattes.

The 4 highlighters.

The shimmers.

7) Value For Your Buck: In Egyptian Pounds, I paid 220LE for this palette which consists of 14 shades, so after doing the math, I paid 15LE for each shade, which makes it more than affordable!!

In Dollars, on the website this retails for 20$, which means you're paying 1.5$ for each shade! MINDBLOWING!

CONS

I feel like the only con is that this palette is limited edition. So, if you have the chance to grab it, do it.

So overall, I give this palette a 4.9/5.0, simply cause of the fact that it's limited edition.
Anyways, this is everything I have to say in this review. Great job Carli for creating such a wonderful palette!

The Past Few Months.

Honestly, I don't know where to begin. A lot has happened in just a few months, decisions were made, new steps and new beginnings. I guess from my last post I have to state the obvious, I wore Hijab. Without a doubt, it was the biggest and most important decision I've EVER made, like ever ever! I didn't think about what I would be missing, instead I thought about all the new things I'd be gaining. Ever since then, I felt better, more myself somehow, it's indescribable. I remember people used to think that I've gone wiser or more rational ever since I wore my hijab, which is ironic cause .. I haven't. *awkward laugh* Everything about me is still the same, I'm still the lively, enthusiastic, perky clumsy loser who makes a fool out of herself anywhere she goes ...

Oh! guess what? I finished my first semester in college! Time flew by so quickly, seriously though. I made tons of amazing, kind-hearted friends who I love spending time with and creating unforgettable memories. The educational side of things, it feels good to be studying something I love and hopefully having a future career in the Media side of the world, and along side it, pursuing my passion for makeup artistry and fashion.

Here's a few life lessons I've learned in these past few months: Number 1) Have the guts to do what you want and screw anyone who disagrees.
2) You're not considered selfish when you think about yourself first.
3) Enjoy every single moment in your life, express your love to people and appreciate the things you have.
4) When it comes to love, cherish it. Cause it's the most beautiful feeling on earth.
5) Do new things, meet new people and seize every great opportunity you get.
And lastly, never make any life changing decision if you're not 100% in it.

I guess that's everything. Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate it. Don't forget to follow me on all my social media and feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

Makeup Tutorial: *Updated* Going Out Makeup Routine.

Uhhhh, yeah. So it's me, again. After a loooong break, again. Apologizing, again! But this time, I have no excuses. My laziness has taken over me, however, a lot has happened and I have tons of life updates, but i'll make a separate blog post covering all that you've missed.

Anywaysss, Today's blog post is going to be my updated going out makeup routine, the makeup I wear whenever I go out with friends, family and so on.
Okay let's get started!

First of all, I'm starting with a clean and washed face. I already filled in my eyebrows using the '' Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Kit '' using my " The Body Shop Eyebrow Brush"

After priming my eyes with the " Mac Painterly Paint Pot " , grab any warm brown eyeshadow and apply it to the crease with fluffy brush, I used the brown shade in the " Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette '' as i'll be using it later for my face, and to apply I'm using the " BH cosmetics 101 brush "

Then, with my ring finger and '' Urban Decay Single Eyeshadow, shade: Toasted " apply this shade onto the eyelids, and then using the same fluffy brush, blend.

Next, Using the '' Colourpop Creme Gel Eyeliner, shade: Swerve '' messily line the upper lash line, then smudge it out using a pencil brush. I used the " BH cosmetics 105 brush."

Now the eyes are half done, we'll get back to them after we finish the face makeup. For the face, I primed using the " Bourjois Happy Lights Luminous Serum Primer '' which is one of my favorite primers for hydrating the skin and keeping the makeup intact all day! After that, I corrected my under eyes using the " Nars Creamy Concealer, shade: Honey '' and followed it with the " Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, shade: 10 " under the eyes and on the places where I need it. Blending using my Beauty Blender.

To set all the areas where I applied concealer, I used the first 2 light shades in the Kat Von D Palette.

Mixing the first 2 contour shades and a stippling brush, I lightly contoured the hollows of the cheeks, forehead, temples and jawline.

For blush, I've been really loving the " NYX High Definition Blush, shade: Amber " and for highlight, I used the " Colourpop Super Shock Cheek, shade: Smokin' Whistles."

Back to the eyes! Line the lower half of the waterline with the same pencil liner and smudge out using the pencil brush used from before and smoke it out with a brown eyeshadow.

Layer and coat your lashes with your favorite mascaras. As a base and my first coat, I used the ''Rimmel London Wonderful Mascara" , on top of that I used the "Bourjois Paris Volume Glamour Max Definition" and as a last coat I used the "Too Faced Better Than Love''.

Last but not least, I have a serious obsession with the Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks! This will seriously stay on your lips and not budge nor bleed outside of your lip line. Like the name, it's ultra matte and a bit drying, but it's not an issue if you prepared your lips with lip balm! My go-to shade is Bumble.

Viola! The look is now done!

Remotivated And Life Updates.

It feels so weird yet so relieving talking to all of you again, hello my lovies.<3
It's been nearly 2 months since I last posted anything on here, I have no excuses, no main reasons, I was simply unmotivated. It happens to all of us, I guess, that feeling where you want to go back to the thing you love the most, but not having the energy nor the mind set to do it. I felt so bad about myself and disappointed, my main supporters pushed me and started motivating me again, and I remembered why I started this in the beginning, it's my passion.

On a more positive note, the past 2 months were life changing. I finally graduated high school, which means in only 2 WEEKS TIME I'll officially be considered as a college student! Other than that, My '' career '' as a makeup artist is kind of starting, I've been taking small baby steps that will hopefully get bigger and bigger by time. Not to get into any more details, but a lot did change in these 2 months, I can genuinely say i'm living a happy life right now.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you're having a nice day.:)x See you in my next post!<3

#RamadanWithEE: Maintaining Hydrated Skin While Fasting.

Hello my lovies!<3

Today, i'll be doing a requested blog post from one of my lovely followers, she asked if I could do a skin care routine to help with our pale faces during fasting. Now, I tried avoiding doing skin care posts for two main reasons. First of all, my skin is NOT perfect, nor will it ever be! And secondly, my '' skin care routine '' varies, as I still haven't found the ultimate skin care products that will help with my skin. Usually, my skin type is oily to combination, but in the past 3 months or so, it became more dry, dehydrated and acne prone, so I do try my best to keep it smooth and less dull looking.

-There are FIVE MAIN STEPS to maintain hydrated skin (in my opinion)
-The number 1 and MAIN one is DRINKING TONS AND TONS OF WATER BETWEEN IFTAR AND SEHOOR! Now, I'm not gonna lie, but I do lack severely in this department haha! I try my best though.

-Number 2 is using a SOAP FREE face wash! It's more gentle on the skin, provides LOTS of moisture and hydration and cleanses very thoroughly. This is the one I'm currently using and have been obsessing over!

-Number is using a serum that rejuvenates your skin and helps it look more lively and smoother to the touch. The one I've came across and ended up LOVING it is The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops Of Youth.

-Number 4 is MOISTURIZING! ALL DAY AND EVERYDAY! Use a thick night cream before bed and let it sink in and work it's magic while sleeping, and a light day cream with SPF to protect your delicate skin from the sun if you're going out before Iftar!
These are the ones I've used and found them very good and basic moisturizers.

-Last but not least, Water Mists! If you can't drink 'em, spray 'em! Spraying water mists during fasting will add the extra moisture your face is lacking, and don't worry this will not break your fast.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you're having a nice day.:)x See you in my next post!<3
